At Feather River Veterinary Hospital anesthesia is always monitored. Blood pressure and CO2 levels, as well as heart rate and temperature, are continually supervised.
Communication
Before any surgical procedure, Feather River Veterinary Hospital will recommend that pre-anesthetic blood tests be run to ascertain that your pet is healthy enough for surgery. Your pet will be given intravenous (IV) fluids, kept warm, and monitored throughout the procedure.
We have an ongoing relationship with a board-certified specialist in veterinary surgery who comes to Feather River Veterinary Hospital to perform some procedures. You can be sure that your pet will get the best surgical technique during the operation and quality aftercare from our veterinarians and technicians.
