Traditional rose gardens are enclosed with paving stones, railroad ties, retaining walls or sod to section off the garden from surrounding landscape plants.

Place tree roses in each of the four corners with hybrids and shrub roses in the middle. You will create the most artistic look possible if you plant roses in groups of colors. Plant your rose gardenwith cool shades of yellows and whites together or warmer shades of pinks and reds as a group.

Always allow plenty of room for future growth between plant materials.
