Pet Dental Care
Part of Your Pet's Regular Veterinary Exams
From the time we first see you dog or cat, your pet will be thoroughly checked every time they have a regular wellness exam for
- Abscesses
- Fractured Teeth
- Bite Alignment
- Injury to Jaw
- Damage to enamel
- Calculus and Tartar build up
Before beginning any dental treatments, we will recommend that your pet is well enough for general anesthesia. This may require additional, precautionary bloodwork.
Every time we perform any procedure for your pet's oral health, including cleaning teeth, your pet will be placed under general anesthesia. A veterinarian and a technician will be with your pet at all times.
All dental procedures are performed with the highest quality care and state-of-the-art techniques. Monitoring for blood pressure, oxygen and CO2 levels, temperature, and heart rate is done throughout all procedures. I.V. fluids are generally administered to prevent dehydration and we provide heat to keep your pet warm. Pain medication is given to ensure your pet's comfort.
Regular pet dental care can help you and your pet avoid unnecessary pain and discomfort from unhealthy dental conditions. Please call and make an appointment today.
