Description
Babe' Farms offers three varieties of beets; gold, stripe (Chioggia), and red. Beets are planted for year round harvest and are offered baby size, packed in generous one dozen or two dozen bunches; or large size in twenty five pound sacks. Each variety possesses a distinct earthy flavor, with the golden beet being the sweetest of them all. Enjoy beets, raw or cooked in salads, pickled, or even in a risotto. The beautiful hearty beet greens can also be braised or steamed.
