Auto insurance can be packaged to include various coverage types, including:

• Bodily Injury: Covers other people's bodily injuries or death for which the insured is responsible. It also provides for a legal defense if another party in the accident files a lawsuit against the insured.

• Comprehensive Coverage: Covers the insured's vehicle and other vehicles (in limited scenarios) the insured may be driving for losses resulting from incidents other than collision.

• Property Damage: Covers the insured's property damage when the negligent operator does not possess insurance.

• Collision Insurance: Covers damage to insured's car when the car hits or is hit by another vehicle or other object.
