Much like 2011, this is another low yielding vintage, with delicate flavors and a bit more minerality and spice than many prior releases.
The 2012 is drier in style than previous years, with muted tropical notes and a touch of grapefruit, apricot and peach flavors. There is more minerality and spice, and the wine almost has an Alsatian profile. There is palate weight to this vintage.
This is the perfect holiday wine - start any holiday party with it or pair it with traditional holiday meals. It appeals to both the wine novice and wine lover.
Keep a bottle or two chilled and you will be ready for any occasion. Better yet, buy it by the case - much like the 2011, it will sell out quickly.

Winemaker's Comments
We cold ferment in stainless to preserve the bright spicy floral aromatics and natural acidity. This wine will fool you - in the glass there are sweet floral aromas of stone fruits, grapefruit, mineral and orange blossom, yet when you take a sip you'll see that it is an off-dry wine with good balance, aidity and minerality. I bottle this wine with a stelvin closure and recommend drinking it young.
